TurnKey UTV announces thier new Can Am Commander Expedition Series Cargo Basket.
All TurnKey UTV products are made in the U.S.A. using only the highest grade materials available. The new Commander Cargo Basket is computer designed and CNC built for precision and accuracy. Basket was designed with a low profile design to maintain a low center of gravity and allow for clearance of obstructions while on the trail by keeping the basket below the roll cage. The unique panel design allows for multiple cargo mounting locations using the incorporated tie down points. The basket is large enough to carry camping gear, cooler, spare tire and much more. The unique design allows for the basket to be removed in minutes when not being used. The cargo basket comes standard in a heavy duty textured black powder coat that matches the Commanders roll cage. The TurnKey Commander spare tire carrier is a direct bolt on mount allowing users to carry up to a 27” spare tire mounted on either a 12” or 14” wheel. Carrier is computer designed and made from steel tubing and heavy gauge CNC cut steel brackets. The innovative design maintains a low center of gravity by keeping the tire lower to the bed than the competition. Name Change

I have changed the name of the blog to XTV Adventures. XTV is the acronym for Xtreme Terrain Vehicle. As my love of off road adventure is not limitied to ATV's or Side by Sides (SXS), I wanted our name to reflect all vehicles that adventure off the beaten path.

I had a little time today to build a divider for the lower bed box. To save the next guy a little time on the dimensions, I thought I would go ahead and write this up real quick.
I made mine using 1/2" plywood that I had laying around. I suppose any 1/2" material will work just fine for this.
You will need to start with a piece that is 27.5" x 9.25". Measure down 3" from the top on each side and in 1/2" from the sides on the bottom. Draw a line connecting the 2 tick marks and cut away the material, forming a slight angle at the bottom. (The brown lines represent the original piece of material that will be removed). Round off the bottom corners using a coffee cup as a template.
I painted my divider black after I took these pictures. Hope this saves you a little time.
